Topping the bids was April 2020-born Burnbank Rockstar, from Dougie and Lynda Graham, Stirling. A son of privately bought Redpaths Nobleman, and out of homebred Burnbank Izzy, it was knocked down to Huntlyhill Farms, Lanark.

A son of Elrick Jethro and out of Elrick Gagrielle, its full brother has previously stood senior champion at Stirling before selling for 6,000gns. The buyers were R. and J. Temple, Dumfriesshire.

Making 9,000gns next for Archie and John MacGregor, Glasgow, was 21-month-old Dyke Robroy. A Goldies Lordoftherings son, out of Dyke Mull, its full brother Dyke Pacman sold for 8,200gns at Stirling October 2020. It went home with Matthew Jack, Fife.

Two more bulls sold for 8,000gns, the first being Ronick Ralph from Ronald Dick, Stirling, which sold to N.A. M. and S. Trotter, Kelso. At the same money was the junior champion Goldies Rambler, another from the Goldie consignment. It went home with R. and A. Stodart, Angus.
