Royal Welsh Show 2026: DigaDoc excavator transport

Now provided as an exclusive option for Ifor Williams, the DigaDoc track retention system is designed to remove the need for ratchet straps or chains when transporting mini excavators or tracked dumpers up to 2.7 tonnes.

The machine tracks are driven into a pair of steel slippers which are bolted to the trailer bed, with an additional rear wedge for the blade and a bucket and dipper lock above the drawbar.

Once the blade is lowered and the bucket lock applied, the system claims no further securing support is needed, allowing faster and safer loading and transport of machinery.

The system was originally offered as an option across various trailer manufacturers in conjunction with a royalty payment. However, the design has been licensed to IWT, and can be fitted to any GH plant trailer in its range. Prices for a locking kit range between £598 and £1,053.
