Kuhn launches flagship 6.0m power harrow combination

Kuhn has expanded its folding power harrow range with the launch of the HR 6030 RCS power harrow, bringing a 6.0m working width and four interchangeable seeding toolbar options for combinable and precision crop establishment.

Claimed to provide consistent establishment across a range of soil types, the modular machine can operate with three combinable seeding systems or an 8-row Kosma precision drill for crops such as maize and sugar beet, alongside more specialist crops including sunflowers and pumpkins.

Kuhn says the design keeps the centre of gravity close to the tractor to improve balance and traction, with the machine suited to tractors from 350hp.

The machine operates with maintenance-free rotor components, carbide-coated Fast-Fit tines and an oil-cooled gearboxes.

Kuhn offers two integrated seed tank options with a single hopper TF 1512, with a 1,500 litres as standard, rising to 2,000 litres with extensions, or a larger TF 2300 C. This uses a 60/40 split to provide both seed and fertiliser delivery from the 2,360-litre hopper.

Both the power harrow, toolbar and tank are all control through IsoBus, with either the tractor UT display, or a stand-alone CCI unit.
