Having grown up in rural Shropshire听surrounded by听farmers, Harriet听picked up on听their feelings of听unfairness when it comes to making money from wool听and听studying fashion meant she was very driven in terms of sustainability. Finding a way to bring those two worlds together is what drove听Harriets work at Fashion Roundtable and the Great British Wool Revival.听听
"For me, I just听connected听all of my worlds together when I was doing my degree and thought,听鈥榦kay, I听am aware that听British wool is听not听being used and utilised听and听I听am听aware of all the problems that the farmers听and my neighbours have been having when I was growing up听-听how can I make this better for them听and how can I make the world a better place?'听So,听that听is听what I听did," said Harriet.听
