It was a day for the history books for the Wilson family of Evening Holsteins, Carlisle, when their fifth calver Evening Sidekick Jennifer, claimed the SuperCow championship for the third year running.听
With a听monumental听show career under听its belt,听the seven-year-old cow听also claimed the supreme championships in all three of the UK's major听dairy听shows in 2023,听and honourable mention at this year's听Borderway听UK听Dairy Expo.
Having听last calved in July, the 95-point cow is听currently giving 55 litres听daily.听
Judge, Iwan Morgan, Carmarthen, said his champion was 鈥榮uch a good representation of the breed' and the best 鈥榬umped' cow of the day.听听

Reserve SuperCow听
Standing reserve听SuperCow听was听the Red and White champion,听Hanview听Aladdin Stocking Red, a seven-year-old cow from Hannah Bown, Worcester.听
The home-bred fifth calver was reserve Red and White champion at听Borderway听UK听Dairy Expo in 2024 and is the dam of this year's听reserve听SuperHeifer听champion听at听AgriScot.
Classified EX95, Stocking Red last calved in June and was shown giving 48 litres daily.听It marked Ms Bown's first time听exhibiting听at the event.听听

Reserve Holstein听
Reserve Holstein was听Clydeview听Sidekick Matilda,听a third calver听from Robbie and Margo听Scott,听Ayr.
Purchased by the late Salvador Esquierdo two years ago, the five-year-old cow now resides with the Scott family's Nethervalley herd, Ayr, and is currently giving 33 litres after calving in February.
Its听previous听wins include inter-breed champion at this year's Ayr Show听and听reserve听Holstein champion at the Royal Highland Show.听
Reserve Red and White听
Standing reserve in the Red and White section听was听Kevin Lawrie听of听Arranview听Holsteins,听Ayr, with听Arranview听Mirand Aphrodite Red.听
The听second calver was an embryo calf听out of the German cow, Luck-E听Redburst听Aphrodite Red,听which previously听placed听German听National Champion.听Classified VG86 as a two-year-old,听it was shown giving 55 litres.听听
Ayrshire听
Topping the Ayrshire section was听Swaites听Nice Girl 42, from听John and Jay Adamson, Lanark.听
Brought out by Jay, the听home-bred听second calver听also placed听Red and White hybrid champion at this year's UK Dairy Day. Classified VG87 it was shown 120 days fresh and giving 45 litres.听听
Mungo Bryson, Ayrshire,听stood reserve Ayrshire champion with听third calver,听Middle Jean KM 2.听
Having bred its sire,听Whiteflat听King Marty, Mr Bryson听purchased听the five-year-old cow听from the听Whiteford family's Middle herd reduction sale earlier this year.听
Jersey听
Champion Jersey went to the partnership of nine-year-old Jack Metcalf, Mark Henry and Rory Timlin, with a four-year-old cow, Mostragee RT Premier Spritz.
Brought out by Heidi Sowerby,听Cumbria,听it was the second calver's first win as a milker, having previously won tickets at UK Dairy Day and听Borderway听UK听Dairy Expo as a heifer.听听
Darnlaw听Webcam Janey, a three-year-old cow from Bryce Sloan, Cumnock, stood reserve in the Jersey section.
Only its first time out, the home-bred听second听calver听was shown giving 28.5 litres, after听calving in April.听听
Any other breed
In the any other breed section, it was the Lochhead family, Mouswald, which claimed the top spot with an eight-year-old Brown Swiss cow, Kedar Nescardo Snickerliscious.听
Classified EX95听and giving 48听litres, the sixth calver听placed any other breed champion at听last year's听Borderway听UK Dairy Expo听and听Dumfries Show and reserve dairy inter-breed champion at this year's Northumberland Show.听听
Reserve any other breed was Oxton听Wildeyes听970, a seven-year-old Dairy Shorthorn cow from Shaun Dixon,听Co Durham.
Purchased privately as a third-calver,听the听now听sixth calver was any other breed champion at last year's听AgriScot听event.听听
SuperHeifer
This year's听SuperHeifer听championship ticket went to the听Holstein heifer champion听Newcroft听Lambda Farida,听from听Airey family, Carnforth.听
Classified VG87 and out of a 92-point cow,听the听first calver听also placed junior champion at this year's Royal Lancashire Show, Great Eccleston Show and Garstang Show.听听
Reserve听SuperHeifer听was听the Red and White heifer champion and听another from Hannah Bown,听Hanview听Snowdrop Stocking Red.
The听VG87听first听calver which was shown giving 38 litres,听also placed junior听Red and White heifer champion at UK Dairy Day.听听
