草榴社区 to be compensated with grant funding after helping to combat wildfires

Scottish Land & Estates said the grant is available for rural businesses which sustained damages after helping to put out wildfires which devastated 11,827 hectares of moorland and woodland in June and July

Ross Ewing, SLE's director or moorland said: "Without the involvement of gamekeepers and land managers the devastation caused could have been even worse. It is absolutely vital to replace damaged equipment in order to be ready for future wildfires, which are sadly becoming more common."
