Beef Shorthorn females peaked at 3,250gns for three-year-old Langhams Rianna Broadhooks and its bull calf from A. and C. Farms, Oakham, with heifers from the same home selling to 3,100gns.
The reserve inter-breed and Simmental champion, Scotland Hill Newman 22, a two-year-old bull by Clonagh Mighty Ab Fab from Tom Hill and Ruby Wright, Doncaster, topped the section at 5,000gns selling to A. Hurn, Norwich.
