Kaleb Cooper has announced a new venture into the music industry to help raise awareness of the struggles farmers face for charity.

The star of Clarkson's Farm - who appeared at LAMMA this week - confirmed he has released a country rap single today (January 18) - titled ‘I can't stand sheep!' - with all proceeds raised going to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) which works to support the well-being of farmers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The song includes the RABI's helpline to support farmers going through the strains and challenges of working in a pressurised industry (RABI)

RABI said the single - set to the floral dance theme - is a ‘tongue-in-cheek' reflection of Mr Cooper's well-known dislike of sheep while resonating a power message surrounding the emotional and financial pressures in farming.

He references the charity's 24/7 helpline number - 0800 188 4444 - several times during the rap alongside his passion for the industry, raising awareness of its struggles and where people can turn if they require help.

With the third series of Jeremy Clarkson's Prime Video series on the way, Mr Cooper said he never imagined he would release a record but admitted his singing did not compare to his 'farming skills'.

"When you listen to it, you will realise why I did not ever think it was possible," he added.

"My singing voice is not a match for my farming skills by any stretch.

"I had a lot of fun recording it and I hope that people like it - but there is also a serious side to it.

"As a community, farmers are only too aware of how pressurised the industry has become.

"The farming way of life can feel lonely at times.

"I wanted to make sure if people are struggling, they have somewhere to reach out to.

"The RABI offers incredible support to the farming community in a range of different ways and this felt like the perfect solution to get that message out - make the helpline number part of the lyrics.

"All profits will go towards helping fund the valuable work they do - so please download the single now and help contribute."

Fans heading to Mr Cooper's UK-wide tour this year, will get the chance to see the single performed live along with a preview of the music video.
