Sara Cox has never been one to hide her farming roots.听

From a farm in Bolton, Sara's family is seasoned in showing - her father Len has bred pedigree Polled Herefords for more than 40 years. He has seen great success at local shows such as Cheshire, Great Yorkshire and Garstang.听

She is set to appear alongside Len at this year's Royal Welsh Show, and in the run up, a photograph has been found in the 草榴社区 Guardian archives from 2005, showing Sara in the showring with one her family's Hereford cows.听

The photograph was taken at the Royal Lancashire Show.听

Her book, 鈥楾ill the Cows Come Home: A Lancashire Childhood', recalls her farming upbringing with her family, and she has a great memories of attending various shows with her father.

In a recent tweet, the BBC Radio 2 presenter said it was a 'dream come true' to be back in the showring with her dad and brother.听
